Politics, Money Markets and Return on Investment were the topic of Leading IMPACT Executive Management and Leadership Program’s February residential session. Digitalization, the climate, and direct and indirect risks related to megatrends and social developments were among the subjects brought up.
The February residency session marks a third of the way through the program for the Leading IMPACT Executive Management and Leadership Program participants. “Politics, Money Markets and Return on Investment” were on the agenda for the three-day session led by EFL staff Fredrik NG Andersson, Andreas Bergh and Joakim Wernberg.
The participants engaged in a role-playing exercise as central banks and countries where the simulation involved trying to avoid a financial crisis. The participants also worked on megatrends and social developments related to finance, digitalization and the climate along with risk analyses.
The purpose of the “Politics, Money Markets and Return on Investment” module is to increase the participants’ understanding of global markets, economic policies and key technical and social megatrends that will likely reshape the global economy in the future. The participants are working on making forecasts for macroeconomic variables such as interest and exchange rates and on using scenarios to prepare themselves and their organizations for the major technical and social changes that will take place in the 2020s.
If you want to spend 15 months developing with one of the market’s top next-generation management and leadership programs, Leading IMPACT Executive Management and Leadership Program is just the program for you. The next program start date is October 7, 2020.
