On October 7, Anna-Karin Wagner, Head of Development of Folktandvården Västmanland AB, will begin EFL’s Leading Impact – Executive Management & Leadership Program. We interview her on her expectations going into the program.
Hello Anna-Karin. What made you decide to apply to Leading Impact?
I feel a need to learn more about business development and operations and sharpen my tools and models for successfully managing and leading a company. It’s easy to get stuck in your own little world, and I think I have a lot to learn by looking beyond the region and my world. This includes everything from performing daily procedures to training, skills development and patient safety. I eagerly look forward to receiving input, getting to meet people from other sectors and industries, and seeing how they work.
How did you come across Leading Impact?
A colleague of mine took EFL’s Executive MBA program and had great things to say about it. This recommendation prompted me to read up on EFL’s successor to that program, Leading Impact.
What do you look forward to most in the program?
I eagerly look forward to getting to meet people from other sectors and industries and learning from how they work. I also look forward to new models and useful tools for successful business development.
